Heritage Open Days are here for a week from 12th September for people to visit us and see our heritage at Cragend Farm. For the next week we will be showing people around and showing why we are Cragside's little neighbour with a big story to tell.
The best way to tell you about the experience is with a review:
"This was a splendid visit.
Lou Rennwck was extremely enthusiastic and informative and gave us a clear and detailed picture of the connection between Cragend, Cragside and the vision of Lord Armstrong.
There was plenty of documentary evidence, maps and photos to look at and enjoy as well as a visit to the Silo and other buildings of note around the farm and the farmhouse itself.
We would recommend this visit to everyone.
