Ad Gefrin - a short drive up the A697 to Wooler and the new whiskey distillery and Anglo Saxon Museum.
Alnwick CAstle - over the moor towards the coast theres a walled garden and plenty of history within the castle walls. Historiic Houses.
Bamburgh Castle - Viking history and beautiful beaches. Historic Houses.
Howick Hall - The Home of Earl Grey and an amazing Arboreteum. Great tea served there for obvious reasons.
Harbottle Castle and the Drake Stone - a tough walk to visit the stone with amazing views or an easier stroll to the castle where Mary Queen of Scots was incarcerated.
