Lou is the owner of Cragend Farm with her husband Shaun, and deals with everything from Holiday Accommodation inquiries to egg collection from the chickens; she is the social media and web design finger-tapper.
We are so lucky to have very dark skies here at Cragend Farm in Northumberland. Here all year around but if you stay in the winter months you get the best show of all the great stars, The Milky Way and comets, plus sometimes the Aurora Borealis.
Local Dark Skies Photographers have tested our light pollution and recorded a very healthy 3-4 around the farm which is very good for the whole of Britain on the Bortle Scale.
We are near to Keilder for a night visit to their Observatory but there i no need to go on a clear night as it is all here anyway.
We have a small telescope that can be used if required.
