View of Cragend Model Farm from Cragside drive Rothbury.

Cragside, the National Trust property located in Rothbury, was used as a film location for 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'. The main house doubles up as Lockwood Manor, the mansion of the character Benjamin Lockwood.

Cragside has also been used for 'The Current War' starring Benedict Cumberbatch about Thomas Edison.

Come and stay at Cragend Farm, with heritage directly linked to Cragside, being the model farm of Lord Armstrong the ingenious inventor of hydraulic power and electricity.

We have B&B rooms and self catering accommodation.

As well as being a filming location for Jurassic World, Cragside offers plenty to entertain visitors, from the inventions inside the house, to the landscaped gardens and the wilder trails and playground.

Other locations locally have also been in films and TV shows such as Downton Abbey and Vera.
